Our friendship is like a light forever,
Always shining bright.
Binding our thoughts together,
To keep everything alright.
People wonder about us,
Why are we so close.
What do we have in common to keep us both afloat.
Many people are searching,
To find what we have found.
The answer that you search for is found all around.
The person that you are looking for,
Is being a friend to yourself.
Once you love what you found,
You can find friendship with everyone else.
Friendship Found
Childhood Friends
As childhood friends, we grew up together,
Swearing to be friends forever and ever.
Sometimes we would argue and fight,
Other times we would laugh and stay up all night.
We went from playing with games and toys,
To talking and dreaming about different boys.
My thoughts and feelings, to you I would confide,
Never having anything to hide.
Friends we do remain,
Things changing, and things staying the same.
To each other we still listen and share,
About each other, we will always care.
Departure
So long old friend,
It has been fun
But my work here is done.
To watch you grow
And get to know
The man you have become.
Wherever you walk
And whenever you talk
Part of me is there.
And wherever I go
You too should know
That a part of you I share.
The part of you that made me laugh
Through all the memories we have.
The things that made us mad
The pain that made us cry
Yet, alas, old friend
It is my time to die.
Now, we part in separate ways
And with others spend our latter days.
Still in your wealthy memory
Let others see that part of me;
The part of me you’ll always have,
The part of me that made you laugh.
Fate has made us one somehow,
It is she who separates us now.
In time you’ll see, much of you is me
Our friendship thus was true
And before I go, the world will know
How much of me is you.
One
One minute makes a difference
When running for the train.
One car will change your day
If you’re in a crowded lane.
One sentence works a wonder,
If it’s needed to be heard.
One deed brings a person light,
As does one kindly word.
One meal is often missed,
One crime means doing time,
One shoe is always searched for,
As is, at times, one dime.
But the greatest One of all,
Be it parent, teacher, friend,
Is the one with you when you’re down;
Beside you to the end.
True Friendship
The hands of fate have twisted again
Altered the love I was to send
She saw me with a different eye
She waved as she left a tearful goodbye
My feelings for her will go forever unseen
To be hidden away like a forgotten dream
She’ll never know as I cloud my eyes
I vow forever to keep this disguise
I can never open my heart she can never see
Exactly what she means to me
I smile and wave as rain falls from above
Now I know the meaning of unconditional love
Always
When you need a shoulder to cry on,
Remember that I have a warm embrace,
Ready to offer comfort.
When you think I’m being too tough,
Remember that which does not kill you
Makes you stronger.
When you need a friend to listen,
Remember that I am here for you,
Always.
When you doubt me,
Remember that I once knelt at your feet,
Washing them in service to you.
When you lose faith in yourself,
Remember that I never did,
Nor ever will.
Thoughts of a Biker
God, yes, I’m a biker.
Yes, your know what its like,
You feel the vibrations, hear the sounds;
You shift into gear and move away with easy, balanced, grace,
Up hills, down hills, and long stretches of hi-way;
God, yes, I’m a biker.
You feel the wind, smell the earth, discover life,
Twisting and turning, or running straight and true;
You may chase a golden eagle, high in the bright, sunlit sky,
Or seek a star at midnight, on the moon-lit horizon;
God, yes, I’m a biker.
You know freedom such as no other,
You seek adventure, you seed solitude, you seek friendship,
You are a friend to all and all, a friend to you;
You are a nomad, exploring life, seeking your way,
Without charts or directions to guide your way;
God, yes, I’m a biker.
Your know the feeling, seeing, smelling the early morning foggy air,
As it gently caresses your face, and greets you on your way;
You wave at others, as you pass by while they wave back,
Wishing they were you,
Just you and the bike and the world;
God, yes, I am a biker’.Ride with me.
Lady From Ethiopia
I once met a lovely lady by the name of Lum lum;
Thanks to her,I look forward for the day to come.
She caught my eye with her pleasant smile;
And a charm that flows like the River Nile.
We are blessed to have her for our friend;
What a beautiful woman and God send.
There are a lot of Lillies in the world to see;
But only one Lum Lum for me.
An Angel Named Amanda
I have the greatest friend on earth
Sisters by god but not by birth
I owe her a lot for all she has done for me
Without her in my life I am not sure where I’d be
We will be best friends forever until we die
We have certain jokes that no one would understand but her and I
Together we share our life story
We look for good in others glory
She is amazing every single day
I admire and look up to her in every way
She understands me and I don’t have to explain
She brings her sunshine to the rain
Someone sent by god to do great things
One of heavens angels with no visible wings
If you ever meet Amanda then you will see
Why she is the definition of the greatest friend to me.
Amanda,Thanks for always being there for me
You have shown me just how best friends should be!

OUR FRIENDS
Once in a while there comes along a couple so kind they stand alone.
They work they slave to make each day in hopes to have some time to play.
Their torch it burns so very bright, with hope and desire to make things right.
They give and give to ease folks plight.
Where did they come from this couple so kind. Their hearts so big like the sun that shines.
God sends us help in all kinds of ways, we don’t why it’s just that way.
They live each day the best they can to make things right for fellow man.
How you say can they do this with such delight, we don’t know they just endure to make it right.
When the day is over and the giving is
done I know they’ll be happy for what they’ve done.
I hope and pray each and every day that others have friends who help this way.
I wish there was more I could say about our friends , they love and give it never ends.
Thank you lord for this couple you’ve sent and bless them with love they so freely give.
