The first time you smiled at me I was taken away I was shaken I didn’t know what to say
Through that first year we did chat and became friends after that.
The next year would be the best, which would put our friendship to the test.
I really liked you and you knew then your crew told you what to do.
At that age there was no special faze, so we were "together" no one really amazed.
We talked day and night, until we got into a fight then I did not want him in my sight.
We were crazy him and I, sometimes I felt like I could fly.
That’s all until I caught him in a lie, it hurt so bad I started to cry.
We did not talk after that and it is a fact.
Time went by and we would still say hi, asked if I could call you someday and you said okay.
I moved away and you knew, called just a few but I knew you were through.
Few years went by, fears and tears always appeared,
Until you sent me a note and I felt something in my throat.
A smile came to my face I felt like I could win a race.
We talked for a year, sometimes until I could not hear.
Things were great, I felt like we were fate I wanted you to be my soul mate.
You came to see me for awhile, it was hard not to smile.
You were gone as quick as can be, not knowing when the next time will be, but we shall see.
We continued to stay friends as we are today, but I must say my heart is yours forever and always.
I love you and it is true, I know you already knew,
but hey maybe someday you’ll feel this way and next time it will stay!
